Key Operational Assets
Our production facility is situated in the industrial precinct of Lubumbashi. The milling facility is up and operating as of March 2018 delivering an output of 4 tons per hour, 2000 tons per month, and summing to 24,000 tons per annum. Furthermore, we recently installed a new mill that will double up our production capacity to 8 tons per hour, totaling to 48,000 tons per annum.
To meet up our storage needs we have built three storage warehouses that are each of 1,600m2 in size onsite for additional storage and a professional garage maintenance facility on site.
In 2019, the company installed 4 storage silos, with a storage capacity of 5,000 tons per silo, summing to 20,000 tons of storage for maize grain and others.
Jambo Breakfast Meal
Our primary product is maize flour. Maize flour makes up the staple diet in the greater Katanga region and is locally called “Bunga”. We launched ‘Jambo Breakfast Meal’ in March 2018 and is deemed to be the best on the market.
The breakfast meal is prepared from fully mature, sound, degermed kernels of maize. The maize is cleaned from impurities, mold, weed seeds, and other cereals by a grinding process in which the grain is comminuted to a suitable degree of fineness and from which bran and germ are removed.
Jambo Breakfast Meal is tagged to be a premium product that is rich in carbohydrates and fiber and proffers premium and consistent value for money to its consumers.
Karibuni Breakfast Meal
We launched our second product “Karibuni Breakfast Meal” in the market in July 2022. We have strategically focused on catering to our budget conscious who may not be able to afford our core product offering. This product has a 90% conversion rate I.E., 100 tons of Maize grain gives an output of 900 kg Karibuni Breakfast Meal.
Our approximate aim is to produce 1,200 tons of Karibuni Breakfast Meals every month.
